OUR STORY

Vaune was founded by Anastasija with a vision to bring fun, on-trend homeware & lifestyle products to the current generation of homemakers.

Anastasija felt that there was a lack of local homeware stores that spoke to the current generation of woman, with most stores either catering to a much older demographic, or following a primarily minimalistic approach.

Anastasija spent two years researching & perfecting the brand before launching in Winter of 2024.

Since then, the brand has been steadily growing a loyal customer base, and has had a great response from the press, with features in coveted magazines such as Remix & HOME.

2022

Where it all began

In 2022, Anastasija & Josh were settling into their first home. Anastasija was deep in the world of homeware sourcing for their space, trying to find pieces that would make their house feel like a home.

As Anastasija hunted for pieces to bring their space to life, she noticed something was missing. The local homeware offering felt split, with most stores either leaning towards a muted, organic modern aesthetic, or they catered to a much more mature demographic.

There didn't seem to be much on offer by way of fun, bold, and on-trend homeware. That gap sparked an idea, and the earliest version of Vaune began to take shape.

 

2023

Crafting the vision

Over the next year and a bit, Anastasija dove deep into planning and research. With a clear vision in mind, she began researching the local landscape. She looked into what was already on offer, and searched high and low for premium, high-quality brands that she could bring on board.

Slowly but surely, through countless house of exploration, mood boards, market research, and gut instinct, Vaune's foundation was being built.

 

Mid-2024

Live at last

After nearly 2 years of planning, the company was officially launched in Winter of 2024.

The launch was met with incredible enthusiasm, with the brand being featured in coveted magazines such as Remix and HOME.

Vaune started gaining a steady stream of loving customers who connected with the brands vision to bring forward a curated selection of fun, on-trend homeware.
